The BILWINCO high speed multihead weigher makes 200 portions per minute with a second to none accuracy. By replacing 2 or 3 standard capacity lines with one high capacity multihead weighing line it is possible to obtain a substantial rationalization of the production capacity. One of Europe’s largest producers of bacon cubes has recently rationalized one of his bacon processing lines by investing in the third new BILWINCO high speed weighing and packaging line. The purpose of the investment is to rationalize and boost the production capacity and in this way increase earnings considerably.
The producer has now 3 BILWINCO multihead weighers, type BW128W, which each has a weighing speed of 200 portions per minute. The weighed out portions are distributed into a 24 cavity thermo-forming machine by means of a BILWINCO filling and distribution tooling. The lines weigh out portions of 125 g, and with a production capacity of 200 portions per minute the total output per hour is 1.5 ton per line.
The multihead weigher is placed on a hygienic platform. All BILWINCO equipment is made for effective cleaning (high pressure hosing).
