| | | | BILWINCO has developed a leasing concept where the manufacturer leases the weighing equipment in stead of making a big investment in new equipment. This concept has many advantages – one of them is that the profit per weighed out portion is higher that the leasing expenses – so for the manufacturer it is all profit from day one. | | | Profits without investments We have often seen that good investment projects are dropped because the money cannot be approved – even though the projects may have a short pay-back time. With this leasing concept the manufacturer has the possibility to profit by automation without having to make a big investment.
The concept is about operational leasing – this means that an agreement about PAY AS YOU WEIGH does not put a strain on the manufacturer’s investment budget or balance. At the same time the arrangement is very flexible – it is possible to get out of the leasing agreement when 50% of the weighings of the 1st period has been done. The weighings are counted automatically and the leasing expenses are based on the number of weighings.
Cost efficient advantages There are many advantages of entering into a leasing agreement: • Liquidity – saves a big investment • The costs come along with the savings • Moves the costs into the profit and loss account. The investment budget is not an issue. It is operational leasing • Payments can be withdrawn 100% on the tax bill • Provides flexibility. The manufacturer can get out of the agreement after 50% of the forecasted sales in 1st period • Cost reduction after 1st period • This provides lower sales prices and competitiveness • A full service contract is included • Ideal for manufacturers with low investment budgets (short pay-back time) • Ideal for manufacturers with short or uncertain delivery contracts

In every single case we will - together with the manufacturer - make a pay-back calculation to estimate if this concept is of interest in the production in question. We estimate the leasing expenses and the profits in the specific project.
